Do that enough times...
Recalls are limited to a couple in the 2000-2001's...(i think thats all), and they are usually already fixed.
Above anything else though...remember this is a sports car, not a civic that is forgiving when you drive it stupid. This car will get you hurt or killed easily if you dont have the self control and technique to drive it properly...and it is not fun to wreck one (trust me, nearly made me cry)...but ya know, its a fantastic car with a unique and fun engine, to me the car is more of a weekend warrior...i dont think i could ever recommend it as a daily driver, but alot of people use it in that fashion, and are happy with it...so its just up to you.</TD></TR></TABLE>
so true, just the other day i saw a nice silver ap1(rims, suspension...etc) in trees.....it looked like some one decided to go "GT4" in the car and lost it in one of the wide corners on the road.
to dumbasses...lol

A fifth gen Prelude does hold its stability past 100 miles better than an S2k. Don't believe? Get behind the wheel of my lude and then hop into my S and you'll see a difference. The longer wheelbase accounts for the preludes remarkable stability at high speeds. You can barely notice a bump in the road or any change in driving condition at 130 mph in comparison to when you're goinng 45 mph.
I love the S, but give credit where it is due. That prelude is remarkable at high speeds as well.

Two are econo-box FWD cars. The other is a two-seater, mid-engine, RWD convertible roadster. With the roadster, practicality issues might come up, if this will be your only vehicle (which I'm sure it will be). I'd definately go with the S, but I'd for sure get a second car. As far as the other two, I'd go with the RSX over the Si. I have never been a fan of the Civic Si's.</TD></TR></TABLE>
since when is an S a mid engine car?

You want to play misinformation with me?
Torque is 162@6500
Rated curb weight is 2860 (why go to C&D when you can get it from Honda?)
Fuel economy: 20-25, even though a few on this board, including myself, get 30+ mpg combined, at least 25mpg city.
Ok, so let me scratch that itch for you. See that strut bar? Thats right over the front wheels. See the motor? Its BEHIND the front wheels. A mid-engine car is a car with the motor between the front and rear wheels, or technically, the axle line.
Mr P Nut was being technical. You were being an asshat, for jumping on his case.
Wait wait wait... lets start with the basics:
Do you own one?

No one was questioning your knowledge of S2000's. But obviously, you don't know it all, either. Don't feel bad, because we all learn something new constantly. But you were being a smartass to Slideways.

yea i caught that after i came back into the thread. i remember reading a discussion about how the s2000 has characteristics of a mid-engine car, but was a front-engine. i always thought a mid engine was like a mr2, nsx, and 911.

Not a smartass, he did say "thought". The way that he went about it was a bit ignorant, but who's not these days. *rolls joint* I wouldn't go into an Integ forum n blab all about that, I've never owned one. *lights joint* So yea, um... S2000s are cool n stuff. Just becareful where you get your facts from, especially when you use it in a "debate".
My "asshat" was directed towards badassmotha, not projectEG. Got a little carried away.

some race classes say mid engine = behind front axle. the s2k happens to fall under this
