i did but it feels like the power is cut off or a rev limiter, but i dont know i think im gonna take it to my friend at honda and have him look at it.
what year is it??
the 00-01 tailed off towards 9k... around 8800rpm it's running really rich for safety reasons... but the redline is still technically at 9k...
in the 02-03 they revised the ecu a bit.. and leaned out the air/fuel up top.. so it pretty much pulls all the way to 9k...
but truely, it's not that big of a difference...

ya i talked to my homie that used to work for honda and he said that that was a problem on 00-02 s2k .
He said they even spudder sometimes. and thnx for the ecu info he said that with the switch the 00-01 will run better with the new ecu change.

Sometimes the MAP sensor gets faulty and requires a little kick in the *** to work right again. Also requires resetting your ECU and relearning the idle. Replacing the MAP sensor is the next/last resort I guess.

<----Has never had a problem taking his S2k's engine up to redline. I shift at redline damn near every time while doing track days. The engine almost seems to beg me for more.
