i just bought this car a week ago. used 2002 s2000 ,when i first got the car ever thing seemed fine now when i make right turns in it (and only when i make right turns 90 degree EX.. coming out of a drive way). the steering wheel wants to catch like it trying to lock up .please any advice would be nice. if i let the car sit still then try to turn it to the right it locks up and its even worse. the car is running when i am testing it. what i mean by locking up it like i have to give it all i can to make it move , and im not a little guy

There's no power steering fluid to check. It's a sealed electronic steering system.
--------------------------
If you notice jerking from the steering wheel when letting the car straighten out after turning (u-turns mostly when the steering is fully turned to a lock position) then you've got something bent in the steering rack. Previous owner probably hit a curb hard with the steering turned or the car was in an accident and replacing the steering rack was overlooked since it's hard to diagnose.

I seriously hope you were joking.

Steering rack is damaged. You can deal with it or have it fixed, the latter being $$$. I hate swapping steering racks.

Between the subframe and the front of the engine under the frame crossmember. Make sure you buy a new one or rebuilt one (if they have started selling rebuilt ones). Chances are if you buy a used one, it'll be damaged since the car it came out of was in an accident, unless the donor car was rear ended pretty bad.

Take it to your dealer then and ask them if they'll diagnose the problem without charging you to make sure it's the rack and nothing else. If you're able to jack up the front of the car, turn either side front wheel completely from left to right going through the full steering motion. If you notice a jerking in the motion, you've found your problem.
