S2000 or hatch?
im about to buy a car and im deciding wat to buy either a hatch or an S2000...i dont kno wat i should do either use the money to fix up the hatch or jess buy an S2k wat should i dooooo???
can you afford the insurance and everything else that comes with owning a s2000....if your answer is yes, get a s2000. if its no, stick with the hatch.
Want my hatch.,... selling it on autotrader. ha ha
Actually we are selling our 92 cx hatch with a b16 swap, civic type r cams, p28 skunk 2 program ecu, coil overs, act street strip clutch and more. Revs up to 8700 and don't have to worry about miss shifting. But anyway I would get an S, but only if you are ready. Family wise, and financially. I love my S. But kind of wish I never got it because of money. And the room. But it is fun while I have it.

I enjoyed my turbo hatch much more than I do my S. I going to keep my S as a daily driver and build another turbo hatch. This hatch won't be as crazy as my last but will made 400-425whp on pump gas. But the ladies do love the s2k.

If you're out of high school/college, my personal opinion is that you've out grown your "civic" stage in life. The s2k will "fit" you better as an adult (mid-twenties and up). Of course, if you can have both, that's great. If you can choose only one, I'd have to say s2k will be a better option. No offense to any of the hatch owners--hope you didn't take any of this personal, but you probably know what I'm talking about.

if you'll miss it forever then why are you selling it.
just cuz you make more money doesnt mean you have to drive around a car that LOOKs like you make more money
thats a stupid reason

I just brought home my 03 S2000 the day before yesterday and have never looked back. I can not wait to sell my hatch and put the money into my S!! It is a great car, but don't buy one if you can't afford it in every aspect. Like insurance, maintanence, things like that. good luck with whatever you choose

And the previous poster is right...if you test drive one with the top down on a good road, it's over

both cars are great man. My brother just bought an S2K and i love it. But i have owned each generation civic, and they are just as fun in the twisties.
but it is damn fun to cruise with the top down. I guess i have the best of both worlds. My brother having an S which i can borrow, and i still have my car
good luck with your decision!
