I have an 02' s2k that won't start. i drove it a couple of days ago and when i started it up today it wouldn't start. when i turn the ignition the engine struggles and boggles, but won't actually stay on. when pressing the gas while doing so it continues to cough until i let go and it dies off. i tried replacing the map sensor but it wasn't the problem. There's gas flowing to the filter but somewhere between the fuel rod/injectors and the pistons there's a problem. any suggestions?

Have you checked for spark?

 

Check your spark plugs, the ap1's spark plugs pop out and its not pretty I had to get a new engine. but there is a kit you can get from honda and they will do it all for free. just make sure your coil didnt burn up and jar the cillinder.

 

pull out the plugs and read them they usually can tell you whats happening. is black smoke coming out your tailpipe?

 

yeah vm it wus jus spark plugs. the previous owners of the car hadn't change them since they bought it. thanks anyways everyone.
