If your referring to me. Those are Not continental tires those are Falken 512 tires great for DD. Im all about performance too, but IMO why cheap out somewhere? It all takes TIME you dont have to have all the baller **** now, save up and do it little by little but get the good reliable stuff . At this moment i cant afford my greddy turbo kit that i want so why buy a intake, headers, ecu upgrade etc. Ill just save up and get it when i can.....All these sick cars weren't made over night, from what i learned from past years of having cars.....do it right the FIRST time

512 is good tire, but i wouldn't put that on a s2000. dont get me wrong i ran thru at least 3-4 sets of those but it was on my beater/daily. nice and quiet but sorry those are not even the same class as oem tires, not even close.

Not a huge fan of these wheels on an s2k but if you like them, go for it.

Picture stolen from google:

Was someone seriously running Ziex 512 tires on SSR rims up there? Talk about having your priorities in the wrong place.

Truf. Ill rock the rotas, because they aren't in issue. They aren't going to get the car stolen, they aren't something to worry about, rotas are not that heavy for cast wheels, and they look ok. If you damage it, you can easily replace it, and that extra $1000 can be used to buy... lets see.... an ECU...a dirtbike.....5 months of my car payment......much better tires..... **** I just bought a fun *** jet ski for $500. Although they are much better wheels, the variance in performance does not justify the price increase. Only the the rarity does

whoever's car that was pictured with the work wheels clearly had continental tires....so if you don't have continental tires, that wasn't your car.

Falken 512's are decent. Obviously you didn't go with azenis because you want more than 3000 miles out of tires, lol.

I'm partial to falken 452s. Ran mid 12s at street tire pressure on them in my turbo 350z and got 25k miles out of 'em with good rain traction. Not the best pure-bred race tire, but decent sidewall stiffness.

If I were really ballin, I'd pick up some goodyear eagle f1's......good thing I still have the small stock wheels :D

Well reddots, the plan was to just get those cuz my front 2 rims now are bent so I just liked the look the d2's have. Im not worried about performance or looks cuz the chicks arnt looking at my rims, they are looking at me.
