Same bolt pattern, different hub bore.

i think its so funny how some guys bash on rota. i think its brilliant. not to mention, for whatever lame *** that was that made the "jdm wheels" thread for "no rotas". almost any of the new rotas couldve slipped in there if someone wouldve thrown some stickers on the wheel. the torques, boosts, hell, even the slipstreams come staggered now. the only thing a car needs to benefit from a wheel is less weight, a wider stance, brake clearance, and in the s2000s case, usually, a staggered fitment. not some volk, work, advan, or any other "JDM" sticker or engravement on the wheel, not some special color and definately not some ridiculous price. rota embodies everything a baller on a budget might look for in a wheel company. and last time i checked, theres quite a few s2000 owners that are just that. dont get me wrong, i know the benefits of buying forged wheels, true multi-piece wheels, and the real version of the wheel compared to the rota, or other copy-cat wheel, is lighter, and more exclusive. but to each their own, and i say TO HELL WITH THE IGNORANT, LONG LIVE THE ROTA!!! can i get a witness?

I think the ROTA idea is great. They have a very good concept, lets copy rare rims and sell them for half the price under our own name. Their making money.

The only thing that I do not like is the quality. I think ROTA rims are made very poor, even though their made in the same factory as some of the top notch rims.

you see the copying thing is kool, not something that can be prevented... i would use it as a track rim, daily rim etc... but i prefer the OG rims that have R&D into them.
however the S2K as i have stated in other "ROTA" post doesnt belong on the S for the guy with it... imagin if i got a NSX adn threw on some Rotas..... OMG

Id be scared to use ROTA's. Ive seen so many picture of them breaking. Now dont get me wrong, authentic rims can break too. But it seems like the ROTAS bust not due to driver error in most cases.

they are cast like many others but not as good as a casting... and yes $ rims can break and bend as well however with teh R&D behind them the % is way way lower

ok, you guys have great points. i guess they suit my kinda driving. the cars i have, i tend to drive them to such a limit that im constantly breaking ****. including wheels, i dont have too hard of a time dropping $600 on an entire set of wheels that i get use out of and dont feel like shooting myself when they bend or break. if i bent or broke a nice work emotion or te37, id be sick, but with a torque or grid, ehh, "hello, ebay? yea... i'll buy it now." at least you guys can be civil and level headed as opposed to others on this forum and other forums, aka s2ki...

common response is ROTA is junk or crap or cheap, but thats all people say. No one ever states why. But anyway, great idea and concept just poor quality.

understandable. im done with my s2k, and im currently in the market for an FC and im definately going the cheap road because im gonna build the car to slide, priority 1. enkeis are one of my fav wheels too. not too expensive either. i wanna throw some over aggressive nasty rpf1s on the FC later on, but thats after a few bent, ruffed up sets of some cheap wheels.

either way, ive always had a good tendency to spend more money on tires than wheels on pretty much any car i own since i got hooked on rwd.
