Default Rock chips!!!

I don't know about you guys but I hate rock chips. What are you guys using to protect your front ends against rock chips. I heard some people using some type of clear bra to protect it...

I know what you mean, I do a fair amount of freeway driving and the bumper and windshield get lots of lil dings. I've found polishing thr bumper helps take a lot of it out. That clear bra is an adhesive film thats offered at my local tint shop, $200. It's custom fitted for individual vehicles, adheres to the paint and isn't real noticeable. The dings in it can be smoothed out with alcohol.

Yeah I really hate them also, once I get my front bumper, cr lip, hood, and both front fenders touched up I'll be getting the 3mm bra, some complains about the bra is the you can see where it begins/ends but whatever...how offend you have to replace it is the big question

Ya, I believe 3M is the brand. The vehicles I've seen with it, it isn't real noticeable unless you get close, then a slight edge is visible, and a slight difference in paint texture. As far as longevity, I have no idea, I assume a ling time. Discoloration is the only thing I would probably worry about.

after discoloration, comes dry rotting and flaking off, I guess it depends on how often your car would be exposed to the elements, good luck

The cheaper versions of clear bras definitely don't last too long, spend the $ for the good stuff!

stick to a name brand like 3M or Mactac - they are putting those on most high-end cars now they look better (clear)
