It is a car, it is supposed to be driven. you will get these chips. But I guess you can always just use painters tape whenever you drive to keep your bumper from getting chips.

I have a lot on mine too...It was repainted a few months ago and I already have about a dozen small chips on the bumper and hood...What I did was when the car was repainted, I took home the extra paint from the body shop so whenever I get a chip I touch it up with a brush and it blends in pretty nicely. There are also companies who make a clear "bra" for your car, which is basically just a layer of clear tape that you trim to fit over the hood and bumper. I would imagine getting that back off might become a problem though...As Ej1_coupe said, it is a car and it is supposed to be driven, so sometimes you just have to deal with them, but good luck

Yea my front bumper is pretty beat up also. I have hundreds of small rock chips. Also my paint is chipping off from all the rocks hitting it. My bumper looks like *** But I drive my car everyday so i have to live with it.

I used to have a couple spare bumpers lying around, so I didn't care about rock chips. I usually rock an unpainted bumper in the winter because Idaho roads lick ***** with all the sand and **** on the roads.

I really thought about getting the clear bra ****, but it was really expensive to have it custom molded to my kit.

That is what you get for drafting on a public freeway.

yea, it means you're following too close on freeways. esp when you're car is lowered.

You're lucky your bumper is only getting hit. I got pebbles flying at my windshield at 60+mph. I'm so damn far from the car in front too.

I thought I was the only one that got annoyed by those little chips. I'm glad to know I'm not alone, haha.

only thing you can REALLY do is, NOT drive your car.

Now don't take that the wrong way,
I mean, if you really love your car, and want to keep it mint. Then get yourself a beater for a daily driver, and only use that to drive to/from work, or any highway/long driving.

Then you can just drive ur fav car on the weekends or whatever. And be careful on the freeways, give ppl in front of u plenty of space,
avoid big trucks, cuz they're the ones that throw up the most rocks.

Just my 2cents on it.
personally I think cars are meant to be driven

i think if you have a nice, well done car with chips on teh bumper... you're bad ***. you have a sick car... but you drive it, theres not much cooler than that. i have little bug and rock marks on my bumper but i wear them like a badge of pride, thats right, i drive my car and i love every second of it.

they lay down a **** ton of cinders during the winter which helps when its icy out, but after the snow is gone the cinders are everywhere. no matter how far back you stay from the person in front of you cinders will still own your bumper and lip. i was thinking about getting one of those "invisible bras" for the front of my car, but i dont know if it'd be worth it.

**** factory civic bras...they trap water, dirt and all sorts of **** under the part that goes across the hood and developes rust wicked quick.

Just deal with the chips and scratches...they are battle scars.
