Default RB26DETT Conversion

hey guys, this is my first post. i am currently 15 years old, when i turn 16 my first car is gonna be a Saab 900 SE Turbo. By the summer of my 16th year of age i plan to buy an s2k... which my parents are helping me with. After all payments. I will have about 15 thousand dollars left over. I was thinkinga bout a RB26Dett conversion into the s2k... does anyone know about how much this would cost? what would be the factors i would have to switch out of the s2k? thanks guys

Have you guys seen the AE86 with the S2000 motor in it? Its pretty crazy, whole frame is spot welded and so on. If you havent seen it you can find it at club4ag.com

why would you want to swap the s2k motor?? with that amount of money you can turbo or sc it and do a lot more other things to get a lot of power..

and yes that ae86 with the f20c motor is sweet, i saw it on the best motoring video and that thing was fast as hell..

I would sure hope that it's fast! I haven't seen it yet, but that can't be a "drop in and go" swap. For the hassle I would expect a great and powerful car, but how does that affect the handling of the 86?
