Is the push start button supposed to light up, at night, on a 2000 s2k? I noticed that a newer 04 lit up when I turned the lights on. Thanks...

what could be the reason for mine not lighting up? All of my other dash lights work fine.

 

maybe your bulb went out?

it lights up... but its reaaally dim.. brighter on the 04+..

are you saying it is brighter on the AP2 or you're not sure?

remind me to check...i remember on the '01 it was really really faint, if any. i don't remember what it looks like on the '05..i can check later today though.. to be honest, i never really looked

 

only way to check is side by side comparison

 

if i remember (and hte weather is nice), i line it up next to an '03

 

2000 s2k mine dosnt light up at all lol

 

I ordered a new bulb from the dealer so I'll find out if it is supposed to light up.

 

just to let everyone know, the 2000 s2000s are supposed to have a small bulb in the button. My bulb was just burned out.
