Problems Of My 2002 S2000
Hello, my 2002 - S2000 have a few problems, like
my car has an exhaust system connected form the manifold, and my guy in the serviced told me that it's too big and the car will loose performance on the lower rpm and gain performance in the higher rpm! is this true?
Another problem is the Octane Level of the petrol used in my country, the unleaded petrol here is around 85 octanes , what kind of problem would that make in the car? because i had a problem; i was pressing the gas and sometimes the car doesn't response, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt response at all! i loose performance and i get no response from the gas pedal. What might have caused this?
I have another question which is about the oil and the exhaust.
My exhaust outputs some black dirty staff , might it be oil? what is it if it's not? my mechanic said it's not oil than what is it? please help me on this.
And finally how often s2000's normally loose engine oil? in kilometers or miles please tell me when normally the oil level goes low!? when do s2000 owners normally get it changed?
Thanks very much for your help!

Thats pretty much accurate. The s2k motor revs high and therefore the components are designed to match that.

Mine never lost any, although I've heard there was a TSB or somethign for the motors losing oil. Wait for someone else to chime in about that (as well as the other things I pretty much guessed about)
Edit: Found this thread about the oil consumption https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=975430
