The people that said they had problems with the wear on the clutch couldnt drive a stick shift...my buddy has a 2001 AP1, 62k on the odometer...and has the stock clutch...and between myself, him and his brother, we've beat that damn car to **** (as we did with my wife's before she got into her accident).

The clutch buzz doesnt effect the clutch, just annoys the driver...

The ONLY thing ive heard that was a consistant problem was the rear differential, from people that broke it from doing burnouts or hard launches at the drag strip...which is not suprising...

Theres nothing wrong with the clutch itself...especially when it comes to wear and tear, and the buzzing, it is a warrantied problem Honda can easily fix...

I heard a lot about the bumper gap, but it didnt show up on either of my cars, so I guess I lucked out. Swirl marks, brake dust, expensive parts rounds up the **** list.

My scooby was bulletproof but this should be a no brainer. Take if from someone who's owned a WRX, if you're okay with a two seater the S2K is the way to go.

Not sure what kind of experience you've had or what type of a driver your friends are to be blowin up trannys. I had an '02 WRX wagon it's been in the snow, mud, and sand without any problems. My friends took turns at Pismo Beach turfing the dunes more than a few times.... that's what I call bulletproof.

I would call it bulletproof if you could launch @ 5k at every single light you stop at every day you own the car. thats bulletproof.
