Real deal Rega Evo's. No Marquis Promodas there
Stance is sick. You should run a 255 though out back if you have the proper fender work done. It'll make the stance pop a lot harder

Wow. I love low offset wheels, but there is a certain way to do it if done right. I've been known to push the limits with offsets and still put more than enough tire back there, so before you make a general consensus about "stupid kids," for which I am not a kid, and running "stupid offset wheels", know your facts.

Facts about what, there are no facts to know here, it just looks plain stupid to have your rims and tire stick out the side of your car.

Yes, but the majority who runs aggressive offsets are not sticking out like a low-low. They have the supporting mods such as certain alignment specs, suspension setup, tires, fender work, rear bumper work, etc etc to make them fit.
You'd be surprised of what aggressive specs I'm running, and still be able to have them tuck under my fenders.
Anywho, Low offset FTFW.

Hey guys. I'm trading my EM1 for an s2k. I hate to be a noob and ask a noob-y question. But I really dig the dumped + low offset thing. As of now, the car is just on lowering springs, but I'm probably going to invest in some coilovers. For now at least, what size wheels/tires would you consider running? 17 8/9, +__? I'd like for it still to sit flush, it's just kinda iffy due to it being on springs. Any help is appreciated.

hey guys,
im in the process of almost purchasing a set of used work wheels.
specs of the wheels are:
17x8.5 +30
17x9.5 +38
im after the low offset look, wanted to get some opinions if you think its abit too much or not with these wheel specs?
also tyre sizing opinions would also be helpful for these wheel specs.
thanks in advance

AGREED! i hate this look, its ever worse when they do it on civics and tegs of any year, you want mad offset? get a german car or a supra/g35/350z. The evo guys try to do this too, some cars just cant fit a decent lip, if you cant do it dont try, it looks lame... only a handful of the cars on this thread look good... ...but its your cars gentlemen, enjoy them if that's how you do it...

Re: (Tennobanzai)
While all these cars look AWESOME, how do you guys drive on that? On a daily driver, those rear tires would be toast in a couple thousand miles. I'm on a -2.5 rear camber and my tires barely last 12-15K miles. Those are just on OEM wheels and a 255 rear. I do drive a LOT of highway though (100+ miles to my gf's house).

I agree, but excessive camber also contributes to tire wear.
You will know your toe is off when you have uneven tire wear on the left and right tire(s).
My stock AP1s with a 255 in the rear (not by choice, last owner had it) only last less than 12K miles (Yokohama AVS ES100), and running 2.5+ neg camber. It's also probably never been properly aligned, which would be my bad

alot to do with it. im @ 3.5 degrees in the rear currently, and with maybe 3500 miles on the tires, they show minimal wear...
