heres some advice for you, eat a dick *** clown...
and to the OP... with all the money youre going to spend on the roof rack and such... get a POS shortbed truck and drive that... our cars were meant to drive fast and around turns, not lug a bike around or furthermore a damn kayak... i can only imagine the site of that... the kayak would be just as long as our car, maybe a little longer... and if u ever did do it, id e-punch you through the computer...

Its a legitimate question. The purpose of an S2000 to be be a performance car. If making a modification to it defeats this whole purpose, it's a valid concern....
If I was a biking enthusiast I'd want to know if something is out there that lets me lug a bike around without simultaneously castrating my car...

No it is not. By your own definition..the purpase of an S2000 is a sports car. Not a bike carrier. Yes it can be modified to do so...but you shouldn't be driving the S like a sportscar on public roads with a bike rack attached. You would be stupid to do so. You risk having your bike or rack fall off. Why not drive like a law abiding smart citizen with the bike rack on, and drive enthusiastically with it off? Common sense would say it would be safer.

Common sense says alot of things would be safer if they weren't done. Such as going to space. I see your point, but I'm sure it's possible to design a way to attach a bike to a car with virtually no risk of it falling off...no matter how you drive.
If we can launch fighter jets off of aircraft carriers and maneuver them at 9 gs with thousands of pounds of fuel and explosives attached externally, I'm sure we also have the technology to securely attach a bike rack to an S2000.
The question is, have they done it. If I was a biking and sports car enthusiast, I would surely be interested in knowing. And if I didn't need to, I wouldn't hold back my driving style.
