Anyone familiar with performance chips? they can run around 10$ and they say they add an extra 35 horses. Hows it work, is it safe to do and is the installation really really tricky? thanks

 

those are usually scams. for an N/A, you'll never see that much improvement with a chip. Where did you see this stuff? ebay?

its all bullshit. people waste 2k on boltons and dont 35hp gain. what that chip will prolly do is make you run rich and thats about it.

 

Yeah, and most hondas (especially AP1's) run rich as it is.

first off.

real performance chips are usally a few hundred dollars, but yes, could someone please divulge into how Dinan chips on Beemers, and Jim Wolf Chips on veedubs work? I have always wanted to know myself.

theres no such thing as a performance chip for the s2000, stay away from ebay crap

 

i put 6 of those chips in my car and started hovering... i wonder what 8 of them will do???
