which one???
My Cousin had his Integra GSR for a while and wanted to get another car but
couldn't decide on a used 2003 S2000 or a new 2008 Miata. The S2000 only has
about 30K miles, is in great condition, cheaper to buy but no warranty,
transmission maybe problematic for that year and higher ownership cost. The
Miata is fun to drive and cheaper to insure and maintain but needs more
power. So how would you decide?

If its between the s2k and miata, choose the s2000.

Actually the s52 & S54 can take a massive beating. There are plenty of track cars with 150k + mile unopened motors.
Anyway, why do you guys care about motors exploding? Any engine can make it to the parking lot for a hardparking show.

Yes, If your amazingly complicated german engineered car can get past a slew of electrical problems...then yes, 150k is attainable of course. But i'm sure I could get to 150k in a track driven mustang as well...

yes the motor can take beatings, mine still runs with 160k on the clock....its just other random and stupid **** that breaks. mine hasnt been right in over a hear. **** bmw, my damn jetta is more reliable at this point
