Don't go buying them just yet...
Try swapping them first from front to back, reset ECU and try again.
#1 is closest to the radiator, #4 closest to the firewall.

What are you talking about?
It would be better if you could get the code, that way we know if cyl 1 was still misfiring. Autozone and other auto stores like it will pull the codes for you free of charge in case you didn't know.
If the problem follows the coil, then that is your problem. If not, I personally would do a compression test and if that was in check a valve adjustment would be in order.

Re: oil change then check engine light on

Re: oil change then check engine light on
If you do that test where you wire up your obd2 port and read the code again you should get a different number according to the other cylinders misifiring you have to make sure that you swap a non misfiring cylinder coil pack or otherwise the test is useless... if so then the coil packs could be knackered...

Re: oil change then check engine light on
If you did swap the coil packs you need to run the code to make sure that it is not the same cylinder misfiring. If it is the same cylinder misfiring then you could have a fuel injector problem.
If the misfire is in the other cylinder then you are golden because you just found out that it is obviously the coil pack.
You should also try cleaning the MAF Sensor as it can cause that problem.
Pull it out, spray it down. Plug it in. Done deal.

As I said before, run your new codes and see if the reported misfire followed the coil packs. If you bought new ones, well that was probably a waste of money.
I am getting to the point where I feel you need to do a valve adjustment, but before that go ahead and do the compression test.

And no it can't be the gas cap. I am pretty sure I have already told you everything you need to know in order to diagnose this problem here in the thread.

k 100/180psi across except on cylinder number 2 .. 50/140psi.. valve adjustment is the next step.. hopefully this time it'll fix the problem.. haha thanks white smoke ur a good helper.haha

Re: oil change then check engine light on
I'm with White Smoke, hope it's a valve adjust issue. 40 psi difference is huge.
I would suggest putting a couple of drops of oil into cylinder 2 through the spark plug hole and redoing the compression test on that cylinder to see if your compression still comes out at 140 psi, or if it improves any. If it does, then the issues sits on the block side, if it's the same, then most likely the problem is the head side.
Good luck with your Gremlins.

Re: cel on
Try to find one of these for the S (unless it's the same)...

Re: cel on
i did a diagnose before and they told me cylinder number 2 was low compression 50/140 .. all the other ones were 100/180 .. so i did a valve adjustment on it and it still pop'd up.. can it be one of the sensor just tweakin on me ? what should i replace first map sensor? o2 sensor?

Re: oil change then check engine light on
So after the valve adjustment your compression #'s were the same? If so the next step would be a leakdown test to find out where your losing your compression. This is probably getting to the point where it's over your head.

Re: oil change then check engine light on
Don't waste your time replacing the injectors... You have low compression dude, that's your problem. You should have adjusted all the valves since you were in there. But since the #2 is the lowest then I guess just adjusting that one to see if it made a difference would be fine.
Next step is a leakdown test to find out where the compression loss is.
