obd 1 conversion, is it possible???
Is it possible to convert the S2000 engine to a P30 or P28 OBD1 ECU? I mean the civic SiR P30 or P28 OBD1 ecu from the B16 engine.
The OBD1 P30 or P28 ecu is very easy to tune.

I would imagine that is it more of a hastle than it is worth. If you really want to do some serious tuning with an S2000, look into a full stand alone like Motec, AEM, or Haltec.

Its for a vortech supercharged S2000. Its running to lean.
We have some experience with P30 ecu tuning and maybe we can sort this problem by reprogramming the (different) ecu

You must be a wizzkid to match these two!
Sorry for the stupid question

Too bad hondata doesn't offer support for the S2000. They have a great product and I enjoy using it. I have heard good things about the AEM but never had a chance to use it.

although a 99-01 Civic Si OBD2-1 harness adapter can be used to plug into the ecu, the problem will be with the ign firing, the b-series and d-series and h-series all use a distributor crank trigger to fire each cylinder, the s2k has its own internal trigger and no distributor. the AEM 1010 box can be converted (switching jumpers) to use on the s2k, (the AEM EMS for the S2k is 1012) ... the 1010 is the 99/01 Civic Si
You can prolly convert to OBD1 and use the AEM CDI ...
