I got my S2 yesterday, the guy who owned it swapped the leather shift **** for the stainless steel one, but I personally love that 1/2 leather shift ****.To my knowledge it just screws on/off,but I tried and it wouldn't budge and I didnt want to try and twist too hard. Is there an easy way to swap the *****? Thanks

if you unscrew the bottom part first, the top part comes off easily

There is a nut under the shift **** that screws against the shift **** to keep it in place. When you change *****, try leaving that nut off. It will leave your **** a little lower and give you a shorter throw for gear changes (not much, but still a difference).

I had someone look at it today, and he said that the nut has already been taken off, should I use some sort of clamp or something,I need to get that bitch off.

^^^ Search man...plenty of topics surrounding price.
As far as the shift ****, seriously, you should be able to just turn it with your hands hard enough to break it loose to pull it off, unless they used some kind of thread lock product on it or something (which would be kind of silly besides perhaps preventing it from being stolen).
