1. cause many people have.... read some of the other threads on this forum and you'll notice it...
2. we gave you a legit answer, a correct one... learn to drive the car first... take a performance driving course before modding...

lol...do you really want a list of answers to this? Asking a question about modifications does nothing to further the legitimacy of your silly claim to own an S2000 at 16 years old...and just to play devil's advocate, let's say you DO own an S2000...your attitude, your desire to street race (as you so maturely told us about your run in with some "fat dude" in a volvo or whatever it was, then again with your brilliant mind, the road course races against illegal mexicans)...it just adds up to one thing...silly little 16 year old wants to feel like a part of the whole, so in order to hopefully grab onto the back of the bandwagon, he makes up a lie...then proceeds to make himself look like a complete moron by talking out of his ***, threatening people but then not even taking a local invitation to prove himself...and basically, tossing any kind of legitmacy he COULD have had out the window.

You started out with the cocky little attitude that you were some kind of phenom race car driver after people suggested taking driving courses. I promise you...PROMISE YOU...and would be willing to put up a very large sum of money that you do not have the FIRST idea how to drive an S2000 to its potential stock, and secondly...that you do not have experience driving the S2000 in its shining element, on a road course.

Now can you come back and call me names and talk groundless trash like you have been this entire thread? Surely...wouldnt suprise me if you did (nor do i think it would suprise anyone else in here either)...you are not a professional driver, most of us here arnt...so your laughing in the face of a qualified and legitimate suggestion just speaks further towards your BS...

 

I am new to the S2000 world but I must say that if other owners are people like Currahee474 then I honestly feel like selling my S2000...I owned a Subaru before my S2000, it was an older RS, pretty rare much like the S2000, and I found that owning a car like these two is pretty exclusive and I met a lot of really good people because the people who owned an RS knew it wasn't the newest, or fastest or handled the best or was the coolest car to have but it was just an all around good car. People were serious, they didn't just shoot thier mouths off on forums, they didn't brag about illegal street racing and they sure as hell didn't go around saying " I am 16, haven't fully hit puberty and my mommy and daddy bought me a car so I would leave them the hell alone..." Seriously dude, grow up. We don't care how old you are, what kind of car you drive, who your dad drives for, how good your mom gives head, and if you think you can out drive anyone. Your cry for attention is the type of **** that gives us legitimate owners a bad name, so either cool your jets and stop acting your age or grow up and use your big boy voice in the forums or better yet have your daddy talk to the other grown ups about how you should spend his money....

 

The unfortunate fact of the matter is...as these cars get cheaper, they tend to land in less and less mature hands.

Exactly...then insurance rates go up based solely on the kind of car it is because insurance companies (while raping the teens on rates) see lots of S2000's being wrecked and then decide it needs its own inflated rate because its "dangerous"...its a big snow ball.
