Default Man Down

So today i was driving my car around all day. Nothing crazy just running some errands around the city. On my way home i come to a stop sign pull out normal take then got on it a little bit took it to 7k in first 6k in second then just put it in forth and was cruising at about 3k.About a mile later down the road tach just started dropping and car dieing. Had pretty much no power at all went into safe mode with a 4k rev limiter check engine light came on along with VSA and the vsa off symbol. I gimped it to my buddys shop all looked good under the hood reset the ecu still nothing has an erratic idle from 1500-2k and still in safe mode. Car is a 2007 with 3300 miles coolant and oil are fine no clue whats going on so i gimped it to the dealer where itll sit till monday Any ideas guys?? i cant believe this.
