Default Lowering with coilover

I know these are not S2000 coilovers but, does anyone know how to properly adjust these type of coilover? Should it be lower\highered from spindle #1 or #2? Wtih this type of coilover, it can be lowered or highered from either location.

#2 sets the preload on the spring. #1 is what you should adjust for height.

If you look at the instructions, it should state whether or not preload (#2) is preset from the factory. Sometimes they even go as far as telling you not to touch it.

Adjust ride height from #1.

STANCE coilovers are preloaded from the factory, don't touch #2. Adjust via the lower mount #1.
