Ok I am reaching out to the S2000 community for some info on the car.
I am a previous ITR owner who has parted from the car for many reasons, and I have always loved the S2000 and the way it drives.
My question is basically what are the main differences between the 01-03 V.s. the 04-07? Besides body styling.
I am looking for the power difference and chassis difference, and which is the superior S2000. I am in the market for one and I hope you guys can give me the basic info so i can make the right choice on which year to buy.
Thanks in advance.
Mike

00-03 is FWD. 04 was the first car honda has put RWD in since the early 80's (with exception to its counterpart acura) the 04 has more TQ but lower redline. it has less horse power because of the drive train loss.

^ its sarcasm guys, lol.
00-03 are more raw cars. The 04+ are more refined, and better daily drivers.
Power is about equal in both, I would not argue that one is faster than the other.
02+ has stronger tranny.
00 has the most raw suspension, and tightest feel.
02+ came with the glass rear window
And thats about it

I don't think that was sarcasm. He was right about the AP2's having more torque and a lower redline, so i think he was serious about the AP1's being FF, plus he's an '06er.
