Default Keyless entry?

Real fast question, I just bought a 2002 S2000 used with only 4000 miles on it. Is this vehicle equipped standard with keyless entry, I didn't get a keyless entry button and I thought it kind of odd this vehicle wouldn't come with it.

Bought it from a used car dealership. Hillsborough Auto-Mart. Pretty good dealership, the vehicle also didn't have have the owner's manual, but I am promised one within a week. I would like to try and get them to give me keyless entry if it was supposed to have it.

Here's a link to the car on Autotrader.

glad to see you got Suzuka!

But, you better bug them. You deserve the owner's manual and it should have keyless. If you don't have any remotes, you can buy them, or make the dealership ge them for you, and they are a cinch to program. I had to program mine because someone at the "steal"ership snagged a remote for my car.

I love the Suzuka Blue. It seems to stay pretty clean in the rain, etc. I just talked to the dealership and he said my owner's manual should be there tomorrow and he's going to see what he can do about the keyless entry for me.

If he screws around and doesn't get me the keyless entry how much does it cost to get from the dealership?

That's a good deal! $20.00!

The dealership will try to snag you for about $80.00 or so, if not more...

http://www.handaaccessories.com sells new ones for about $59.00.

If you don't mind getting a used one, surf eBay. The prices will vary on there. The choice is yours.

Here are programming instructions. In .PDF format.

I noticed on there they have one for the security system and one for regular keyless entry. How do I know if I have the security system? I didn't see any alarm setup in the engine bay, of course I don't know how well they hide them from the dealership.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to tell the diff. between factory keyless and an alarm equipped system.

Anyone know? I'd hate to have to go to a Honda dealership to find out.
