Do you even own an s2k? If you have any knowledge then you would know that the s2k isn't the cheapest car to build.

forged pistons are forged pistions. Doesnt matter if your buying them for a H motor or an F motor they will be around the same price. Its the parts that they need to make specifically for the car that are gonna put a hole in your wallet

That sounds like a good price + whatever the labour is going to cost you to take it out and re-install it. If you are going to get into a build like this make sure you have plenty of money lying around in case anything goes wrong

My built bottom end 2.4 liter was 3500 with sleeves and 2.2 crank.

My head was about 2000.

Headgasket and all new seals were about 250.

This is about the going rate for a built motor from a shop.

As for the block, you figure about 1100-1600 for sleeves, 900-1400 for pistons and rods, 200 for bearings and 300-600 for assembly.

You can figure the head disassembly, port job, and reassembly will run run about 1200 give or take. If you wanna add aftermarket valve train you will have to add on the parts prices on top of that. Also there will be more labor if you go with over sized valves.
