Check out the FAQ file at http://www.nsxprime.com. Everything about the NSX is extensively covered at this website. More info is available at http://www.nsxhelp.com as well.
I have a '91 NSX that I bought over five years ago and it's been the most reliable exotic that I've owned. I've tracked it at Laguna Seca nearly a dozen times. I do all the scheduled maintenance and take good care of it. I treat it very well and in return I get a very reliable exotic. It's an absolute blast to drive. After five years of ownership, there's no other car that I want to replace it with.
The key is to find a well maintained NSX with all service records. If it's an early 90's NSX, make sure the timing belt service has already been done (regardless of mileage). Have the car checked out by an NSX knowledgable tech if possible. Good luck!
