does any know if there a difference between the hard tops on the s2000's as far a the year of the car is concern. Or all the same. and is the process of puting it on hard. Also what the cheapest i can find one for.

 

i believe they are all the same, someone correct me if i am wrong...

the only difference is on the model year 00'. before a certain vin # you need an adapter kit....

because they need a retrofit kit for the installation hardware. there wasn't enough planning on the hardware for the hardtop at that time. I believe the kit effects part of the '01's as well. I cannot remember at the moment. regardless, if you inquire with a Honda dealer about ordering one, you should ask at that time and they'll have the info.

 

i believe the reason for the retro fit is because they were not available till late in the year for 2000
