just wondering how many latches hold down the hardtop? also how hard is it to install the hardware? i asked the dealer and they quoted me something like 6 hours to install the hardware... i sort of find that hard to believe, but you never know.....

also for all you mugen ****** out there.... anyone know the weight of the non-cf top?

CF = 34 pounds
Fiberglass = 44 pounds

King says 4 hours install time.

After looking at the hardware kit when we bought ours and the top was offered to us, im saying that their 6 hour estimate is a freakin' joke. Just looking at the pieces that come with it, it looks like maybe a 1-2 hour job, if your know what your doing. I could be wrong, but just looking at it...even 4 hours seems like alot.

I think the one's on Ebay are just people that get them wholesale from honda, mark them up a little and then charge alot for having them painted for you...not sure, but im pretty sure that only Honda and King Motorsports (mugen) actually manufacture these hard tops, so i dont think there is a "Cheap" one persay that you will find...

You just asked where to get them...im sure theres thousands of places online to get them. Other companies that MAKE them though, i think your limited to those listed by yourself...

eehhhh if it's a mugen style.. i'd rather dish out an extra 700 bucks for the mugen... better quality/fit... better all around...
