hard to say really, i dont think springs go bad... when does it rub? when you turn? the shocks shouldnt have ANY effect on the height of your car, thats all in the springs. Shocks are merely a dampner for hard turns and bumps/holes on the road. did you set all the springs to the same height? cause you know you have to take into consideration weight distribution? like, on the drivers side, you have 1: the driver 2: the engine. hence more weight i.e.: lowest corner of the car. try raising your drivers side about 1/2" to 3/4" higher than the passanger side. This usually works for me in the balancing of the car.

but look the car not even dumped. both driver and passenger have 2 finger gap on the wheel and the fender. before i had stock shock and its more dumped than now i havent had problem rubbing on small potholes. now its just so sensitivity when i hit a small pothole it rub.

if they are wore out like you said you can always call them up and get new ones, ground control covers the whole coilover assembly with a limited lifetime warranty.

just a thought man..

i think you feel every pot hole now because the shocks are stiffer than stock.
