Greddy E-manage
Back story: I'm running an AEM EMS with my turbo setup. But I need to pass emissions in March. So that gives me 2 months to find a solution. The emissions here is done by the OBD II port, they plug in and as long as I don't throw a check engine light, I'm good to go. We all know that the AEM EMS is not OBD II compatible so I need a temporary solution to pass.
Main concern is that I'm running a 3mm headgasket and 675cc injectors. The boost is not an issue, because I will just remove the blow-off-valve so I don't build boost, and will just need a slight tune on whatever system.
Now my question is:
1. who is running a Greddy E-manage (and which version)?
2. has the ecu thrown a check engine light?

I had Greddy E-Manage on my Turbo Integra for like 2 months before I switched to Hondata S300.
For what you are talking about I think it would work.
I assume you have someone who will overlook the mods and E-Manage as long as it doesn't throw a code, because some places around NoVa actually care....

Well then you are golden....
I never threw any codes with E-Manage because of how it works.
It takes the signals that you get from the engine and does a bunch of calculations, then sends what the stock signal should be to the ECU and wait for the ECU to send back what it would do. Then the E-Manage takes those signals and uses it's calculations to send the TUNED signals to the engine.
Although I will have to say it was not fun driving, thats why I made the switch. It lags...

Yeah, the lagging or the minuses of the E-manage are of no concern to me. Basically the plan would be to install it, get it tuned, drive to the gas station, get emissions testing complete, re-install AEM EMS and go.
I just need to confirm that it won't throw a CEL before I make the purchase.

Humm, you know, I just remembered that I also removed my pulsed secondary air injection pump due to it being in the way of the intercooler piping. I know if this system fails it throws a PO410 code.

How about you buy it, have it shipped to me, let me use it for a week, and I'll send it back to you and I'll treat you to some drinks at the next Atlantic City meet.

Now here's another question. What's the difference between the Ultimate and the base? I need to have the ability to subtract fuel since I'm running larger injectors.

Beats buying something that you will not need anyway.
