hey y2k_s2k how do you like the ARC intake? Is it worth the extra money from like a AEM V2 and does it make the same power?

 

i like my ARC ... they said that it doesnt make any power but i felt extra "kick" and a lot louder than the stock one .... all in all im happy with it .. keep in mind the chamber is sold separately

 

ARC makes me afraid of heatsoak but it looks cool

 

Stock oil was in there to about 5,000 miles...so i think that was a good "break in" period for it. My boy works at Advanced AP...gets me a good deal on a case, if you werent jetting to europe, i could probobly get it for you too since you offer a nice piece of *** when i need one.

wondered my way into the sk2 section, for giggles. but anyway. Y2K_S2K in a parade of s2k's today that happend to drive thru mchenry. i was in a mr2. there was a s2k just like yours, had a little whales tale and different mirrors i believe.

Dunno if it was the best route or not, but I added a Comptech CF Intake, Invidia Cat-Back, and Comptech/4.77 FD setup first thing.

For the FD. Best bang for the buck for sure! Better to replace it right off the bat instead of waiting until you grenade your OEM unit.

thats a nomal route for most tuners with the s2k...

see im not sure about it, it looks very nice, but i hear the whole heat soak theory with them...im happy with my comptech, if anything i will buy a j's down the road...

Just bought my s2k exactly a month ago...low and behold the check engine light came on at a little over 40K getting check out tomorrow hopefully its just a sensor...as far as mods go I'll be gettin a mugen intake soon...

my check engine light came on soon after 40k too.... i was jus drivin absolutely normal too (for once). but it randomly turned off like 700 miles later (a week or so).... idk wut was up w/ that?

 

why didn't you get the code checked when it came up?

Are you sure it wasn't your "Maintenance Required" light?
