chip...lol...you learn something new everyday...

chips are a waste...they are the cheap way to EMS and Standalone...All they do is trick the ecu into giving the motor more fuel...I don't see how a company can sell chips for hundreds of dollars and everyone raves about them...I think Jet gets over 400$ for a chip...

Any way, some places do an ECU refresh or reprogram...Thats a much better idea...To really mod the s2000 computer you need to run some kind of stand alone or piggy back...Mugen, spoon, amuse and some other companies make ecu's, but they work well with their parts...

As for the final drive, its worth the money...Its my next mod...4.57's i think im going to get...

Yup...like the Audi S4, jesus...my brother got one with a chip and tuning ONLY, gained nearly 45hp, that is just insanity. The chip and tuning totalled $750. My jaw dropped after driving it down the road vs. a stock S4. Thing about it is though, our car wont be in the shop for electrical problems every other week so...

That's what made me want a 1.8T (they gain good #'s with a chip as well) but after reading about all of the bs electrical problems and windows falling into doors I stayed with Honda.

ya my friend got a chip for his s4 and some rs6 turbos and got like 100 hp off of it....

***** crazy, all turbo cars can gain off chips, like evo/sti ect....

i really want a ems tho, they are what makes a s2000 worthwhile for NA....

everyone just tells me to go turbo and call it a day....

yeah but the Audi chips mess with the turbo engagement i believe. its easier to produce power from a factory turbo car with some computer work and tuning...
