and really, saying my girlfriends fat and all that.
come on dude. whats next, "your mama" jokes?

so far you have thrown in everything but the kitchen sink and you still havent found one insult that is actually insulting to me, because everything that you say is has no basis in reality

you say i cant build engines.

i guess you werent there when i built my b20.

sorry you had to miss that

for the record i own my own business and i'll probably pay more in taxes this year than you make in gross earnings.

and how do you rev it redline everytime, as you said in your original post, and still manage to maintain the traffic laws like you mentioned later on.

its easy to assume that you make more money or have better work ethics or what ever else when you know nothing about someone.

however, i am going by the info you provide to make a guess. you are a mechanic and it is a job that has an income ceiling. you had no idea what i do.

its very typical of underachievers to assume that the small accomplishments that they make are better than everyone one else, with no real basis for comparison.

18 bucks an hour or so, is decent pay for most people, when the hours are there to flag, so my hats off to you. but a genuine piece of advice, you will never become truly successful if you just assume that your little piece of the pie is bigger than everyone else with out even looking.

most mechanics i know are making 20-32 per hour.

maybe you should look into an independent shop. it worked for them.

good luck

Mr E.G. knows what hes talkin about. And seriously, thrashing your car on fresh cylinder bores and rings can't be good for the car. When my B18 block was sleeved they told me to take it easy for the first 500 miles also. This was a 9.0:1 CR on 18lbs of boost. I'm just passing on good advice from a motor builder AND a manufacturer, not to mention one that makes the most efficient street motors on the market.

How about we all read the manual and do what the engineers that designed and built the motor say to do.

Its not really suprising that you can get one with zero miles on it...most of the time when people "order" a certain color or one with certain add ons, they just get it form anoter dealership and either drive it or drive it to a truck and get it going, our situation was one that was manufactured in July 2004 (we bought it at the beginning of August 2004)...it came off the ship in sandiego or wherever they come in and it was put on a truck, at that point most of them dont have any miles on them, their just driven up on a truck...then their distributed...you pay an extra cost for special order (i think we tacked on $600 to ours for having it brought straight to our dealer for destination fee's)...it was brought on a train or whatever then put on another truck, and brought directly to the dealership...zero miles. None of the other S2000's on the lot had zero miles...which is why we did it.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">so whats the point of you receiving your vehicle with zero miles? Is the car gonna last longer when compared to an S2000 with 7 miles? I don't get it, please explain.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Nope...probobly not going to last longer than one with 5-10 miles on it, theres probobly nothing different besides maybe less dirt of someone's shoe...the main reason i did it is so that i KNEW there was nobody hot ******* our car around when we bought it...this is a sports car, and one that in my opinion we are paying good money for (while i agree the car is an incredible value at $30k, its still alot of money)...so i wanted it fresh, no miles, nobody beating on the car or anything, i wanted to do everything first to it...i think i reserve that right, cause in my opinion, if your car has been driven at all, its been used...once you drive it off the lot when you buy a "new car' it becomes used...and decreases in value, so my idea was that if anyone is going to drive it at all, and make the car used, its going to be me...

Im picky about things i buy...which is why i only buy used cars from my brother that i can get fully inspected before hand and drive for a couple of days before signing anything...so i didnt see anything strange about wanting my car that im buying "new"...to be just that...brand new, with nobody elses mileage on it.

Many times with Bimmers, Benz's and Porsches, you'll actually find people that request discounts for just a few miles on the odometer, and the dealers will give it to them, and while a $100,000 porsche is a little different than a $30,000 S2000, the pricipal is the same atleast to me...
