Hi Guys,

I'm having a problem with my F22C engine, it's mixing engine coolant and oil after it overheated. I've tried to fix this by changing the headgasket, head and engine deck straightness was verified with a straight edge.

I think that my cylinder head might be damaged or cracked causing the coolant and oil to mix.

Do you guys know by any chance if the F20C and the F22C engines have the same bore size and deck height?
Would I be able to use F22C internals (crank, rods and pistons) in a F20C engine?

 

The F22c had a longer stroke, so no the deck height wont be the same.

The article doesn't mention anything about the deckheight.
Kind of like the B18C and B18B engines same deckheight but different stroke makes up for the B18B's larger displacement.

 

F20 and F22 have the same blocks...its the internals that vary
