i know there are 2 different yellows s2000's come in , ones before 2004 and ones after?. anyone got pics of both?. planning on painting an EG that color but dont know what yellow i like.

 

I think the ap1 and ap2 are a different shade of yellow... google it

 

ap1 is spa yellow, and is flat looking
ap2 is rio pearl yellow, and is a little deeper lookin because of the pearl.

true... plus the rio looks classier...

 

not to sure , got a price from the bodyshop, said it will be a bit more for the rio yellow as its a pearl . think im gonna go down the honda dealer and see if they have any in to have a look at .

they are both pearl. Spa just is a few shades lighter in yellow.

 

Yep, they're both pearl. Perhaps I'm biased but Spa shines like no other. Rio looks like mustard.

Technically its not false, I never said it has no pearl

...however, I admit I didnt know it had pearl... but I still think it looks flat. Ive seen then im person side by side, and it doesnt look that spectacular. (IMO)
