Is comptech developing a...
Short shifter?
After selling my axial short shifter, i do miss it, but not the rattles.
Im sure a comptech would be far superior in quality than Ricks was.
Has anyone else heard the rumor that Comptech is developing a short shifter for the s2000?

I heard this same rumor a while ago. I have never senn or heard anything from Comptech directly. How was your other shifter despite the rattles? I thought about a SS, but I don't want to change the buttery throws of the OEM Unit. I am pretty sure C's makes a SS for the S2k. They are always top quality pieces too!

The C's is actually pretty damn nice piece. No experience with the AP one's though.

i was thinking it also.
In the words of honda's s2000, "4 inches in any direction will make your world turn."
kinda sounds like a porno.
any throw shorter than 4 inches, is crazy short.

the throws were greatly reduced and it shifted very nice. it just rattled, and rattled, and rattled some more.

i agree theres no reason for the shifter to rattle just because of the length.

No need for a short shifter here. I'd rather not have to risk the rattles. If you want better shifting, look into tranny fluid instead.

this is a common problem with the shifter from Rick. not enough r/d goes into their products.
