HEy i have an s2000 comptec supercharged, but i am doing a rebuild, due to some fuel prob.'s but my question is if i plan to up the boost from 6 to like 10 or 12, what is a good compression ratio?

 

also where can i find forged pistons for my s2k!

 

is it an ap1 or ap2?

 

ap1 i believe 2003 its the f20c.....9000k redline 2.0 liter

 

Stock can handle up to 11psi with upgraded injectors and ecu

 

for pistons use ARIAS..about 89mm with 10.5:1 c/r with a comptech s/c...about 12 lbs of boost...about $580 without the rings

 

so 8.8:1 may be a bit low?

 

well i was answering the forged pistons question..

but yes 8.8:1 is too low..stock is 11:1. remember s/c get hot after 13psi...my suggestion is instead of rebuilding the block, get a feul management system..with 8.8 c/r and 12 psi you car will do no better than 12.5 1/4 mile runs

 

hmm how much hp do you think 12psi with 8.8:1 will get me?
