Which coilover is good for S2000?
What kind of racing are you planning to do? What setup are you trying to obtain? Driving style? Do you have a spring rate/damper rate in mind? How much adjustablity are planning to obtain? Do you have a discount at the local alignment shop?
Just asking which coilover kit you should buy without providing any information related to your needs is like asking a mail order bride service to "just send someone over."
(Skip the Buddy Club kit for the S2000, its overpriced ghetto slop)

I will go to track, but most of the time will be on the road. Spring rate I am looking for F10K and R10K, so I think Buddy Club wil be perfect for me and also the price is pretty cheap too.
Hi, I have the Tein RS on mine and it is nothing but spectacular. I have lowered the car where the fender sits right on top of my 19" HRE wheels and it ride like stock. My setting on the coilover are 9 in the rears and 8 in the fronts. Also people have told that the Buddy Clubs were better, but comparing on the tech specs the Teins have stiffer rate, bigger diameter piston, although you can get custom spring rates for the Buddy Club but that cost you extra.
Good luck with your decision.

Tein sells springs with those rates. http://www.scienceofspeed.com should have them in stock. In fact, the ScienceofSpeed S2000 is running that setup. Unfortunately, these spring rates are really tricky to tune for. The current setup is really funky but judging by the times he is running at Pacific Raceway and Portland International Raceway its working. Chris may comment at length on his tuning effort, its his car so I won't give away his tricks.
The Mugen's are really funky, 8k front 11k rear. I have no idea why they are running completely opposite numbers in relation to the rest of the world, but I been on the track with the Mugen SS2000 and its no slouch in the right hands. Don't know the guys personally though, so I couldn't comment on exactly what Black Magic they've performed.
Think you need ubie-doobie bling-bling to kick butt at the track? Many of the fastest S2000's on the West Coast are running stock suspension with the Comptech adjustable anti-roll bar and wider tires.
The fastest West Coast S2000 is running a 100% custom Moton setup. The next three fastest drivers are using stock dampers/springs. The fastest driver in the PacNorthwest is driving on cut springs.
Nobody is running 19" bling-bling wheels. Food for thought.

Spoon or Buddyclub
Spoon dampers are design a bit different compare to other manufacturers on the market but think hard this all make sense cuz Spoon proven that their setup worked well in the race series in Japan.

my friend got the TIEN coilover for his s2k and the **** is rubing

If their tires are rubbing, then adjust the coilovers. Simple as that.

Your friend bought aftermarket wheels with totally ghetto offsets.
Springs/Shocks usually don't modify the car's offset values. The Teins don't for sure.
