Default code 1106

Can anyone give me a little better explanation of what this is?

Sorry can't direct link, s2ki is blocked at work.

The barometric sensor is integrated in the PCM on hondas. Its the sensor to determine altitude/changes in atmospheric pressure. I would try erasing the DTC and reseting the PCM as it could only be an intermittent problem. If the problem comes back you will need to replace the PCM, you can't replace the sensor itself and most likely have a damaged printed circuit board/sensor.

Well the car is FI, so it sounds like that may have something to do with it..?

Do you have any other DTC besides the P1106?
Being FI has nothing to do with the baro sensor, its primary purpose is to measure atmospheric pressure- it has now way of knowing what your manifold pressure is. The MAP sensor is what determines weather your engine is pulling vacuum or building pressure.

Nope no other codes...where is the baro sensor?

My understanding is that since there is a difference map sensor on the car (it has the stock sensor and a denso 3bar) that the voltage from the map sensor does not agree with the baro sensor...am i totally wrong?

If you have a 3 bar sensor on there now then yes you may just need to rescale the MAP sensor. The MAP and Baro should read the same voltage with key on engine off, the PCM will monitor these inputs and will consider it a malfunction if the two voltages are offset.

How do i get them to be within spec? The shop recommended putting a missing link on the stock sensor which i did, but to no avail... :-/
