Default Check Engine light

Iwas wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to turn off the check engine light w/out a scan tool. I unhooked the map sensor on the throttle body when i was putting on my charge pipe and accidently started the car w/ it unplugged and threw the light! Anyone?

Disconnect the negative on your battery for a few minutes, that should do the trick!

Turn the car to accessory. Remove the 7.5 "Backup" fuse, under the steering column in the fuse box. Turn the key to off, then put the fuse back in, turn car back on to accessory, and you should not see the light anymore.

Goodluck.
