Default buzzing sound. what in hell.

I was in my brother's car the other day and i noticed a buzzing sound when he would let off the gas pedal. Anyone have any idea what it could be? It went away when he accelerated. Then when he left off it made a weird buzzing sound..Could it be the tranny?

I believe almost every MY has this problem. It's annoying, but normal.

WTF? Re-read your question again, and see if it makes sense to you. If it's normal, why would it need replacement?

You can replace it and the noise might possibly go away (at least for a little while), but to me, it's not worth the $$. Plus, it's a roadster, not a Lexus.

I have am 01. It's the clutch buzz. I couldnt get used to it so I took it back to the dealer a year after I bought the car. They said it wouldnt harm anything so I left..... Until I couldnt take it anymore. I went back with the TSB. So the great stealership informed me they dont have to cover them on used cars. After about 45 minutes of fighting and getting sent here there and everywhere they finally decided to do a Good will service. So it was free! They changed clutch and flywheel even though they didnt have to. Just fight with the dealer. I even fought for the vibration in the cv joints to get fixed for free. Maybe I've just been lucky though. dealers do suck!!!
