you are taking too long. it can be done in just over 4 seconds if you're quick.

If you snip that little speed sensor wire, you can do it pulling up to the stop light..

^ I don't think it's always about the money factor. I've been considering getting an S2k in the near future (always wanted one) but I honestly don't like the look of the exterior mods done to the CR. The collectability and performance mods have me on the fence but I'll probably end up buying an AP2. Just my $.02

Is it possible to add a softtop back to a CR?

Why would you? The short answer is you could, but you'd be removing some of the parts the differentiate between a base and a CR. You'd be better off buying a base and purchasing CR parts. It'd also be a bitch to run wiring to the motors and such as it doesn't exist. So it'd either be a manual top or a hack job.

The CR really isnt a type R model. It's somewhere between a base model and a Type R. Infact, the guy who designed it said it's meant to be somewhere between a Type S and Type R trim. If you follow Hondas, you kinda know what that amounts to.

I'd still like to own one...except for the lack of soft top. I like to cruise with the lid off so ladies could see my junk thru my tight pants.

We own 9 S2000's and in my opinion the CR is basically an extension of the AP-1 kind of like an AP-1+. The cars overall "feel" is very similar to the AP-1. True their are the minor differences in weight, tire size, add ons, etc. but, overall it is not that different from the 2000 - 2003. I am looking forward to the Ultimate Edition we recently purchased from a gentleman in Italy when it arrives next month. That will be interesting to compare it with her siblings.

LOL....For all you know, those 9 S2000s are part of a bigger stable of cars.
