Re: Best Exhaust?
my favorite exhaust overall is the j's racing 70rr... no resonator, no cat, just a straight pipe and a muffler. its ridiculously loud and it sounds amazing
but i have a spoon n1 since i forgot about the 70rr when i ordered it

Re: Best Exhaust?
I love the stock one.
Pros:
- fits like OEM.
- comes with the car, so it's kinda free, but you had to buy the car
- never rattles
- I can hear my music when driving
- I can talk to my passenger
- I don't wake up the neighbors
- I can ninja-flee from some girl's house when her husband comes home
Cons:
- it's heavy

Re: Best Exhaust?
i say it depends on what you're looking for. the tanabe super medallion hyper sounds good IMO, its quiet until high rpm's and no drone. the j's exhaust has a lot of drone. T1R EM exhaust sound great also but are expensive.
I have Buddy Club Spec III and it sounds great with minimal drone.
youtube some exhaust clips

Depends. Ap1 or Ap2?
On AP2, it's hard to find something comes remotely as well-fitted as the stock exhaust. The only one IMO that can some what pull it off was the Mugen V2 for AP2 (still not as nice looking as the stock one..)

Re: Best Exhaust?
I think my T1r-70mm EM is my favorite...but i won't know until I take it out of the box and install it. haha
I have a Buddy Club pro spec and it was wicked sounding at WOT. But the drone inside with the top up was too much for me.

Kinda older video showing a lot of different exhausts.

I personally like the look and sound of the ARC International Titanium, Back Yard Special and Power House Amuse R1 Titan Single or Dual. Not in any particular order.

Re: Best Exhaust?
im surprised only one person said hks. I think the hks exhaust is the best out there. No drone, its light and it looks pretty good. It also gives the s a UNIQUE sound because of the super soaker looking resonator.

Re: Best Exhaust?
No one says HKS cause it makes absolutely no power. You're best bet for an exhaust is to go with a titanium single. You won't make crazy power with any exhausts on the S2000 but you can at least shed 50-55lbs of weight with one.

Re: Best Exhaust?
OP would u like a video sampling the T1R 70mm, and a T1R 63mm as well? Im about to install my 63mm since its my street-setup, wouldn't mind shooting a vid for you if you're seriously considering a T1R setup.

Re: Best Exhaust?
I have had the Invidia 70mm single with matching test pipe, j's racing 70RR, and Amuse R1000.
I have to say, the r1000 takes the cake! The sound quality/volume is unmatched. Since the 70rr and r1000 are often mentioned when "best exhaust" threads are posted up, I would say that the r1000 is the best one out there.
BTW the R1000 is noticeably louder than the 70RR. If any of you are local, I can give you a ride in my car. The sound really is unforgettable.
