Oh, and where do you get fixed headlights like that? Those look great--way better than the stock 2002's (blech!).
Someday when I own my 1997+ NSX (twenty years from now!
) I think it'd be great to get those. Very nice, clean look, and more modern than rotating headlights (and much better looking than the deployed rotating lamps!).
Neat car... Comptech did a good job--it seems like a car you could live with everyday (well, maybe).

Those numbers are extremely low for a supercharged NSX. 6-speed NSX's are capable of high 12's/very low 13's bone stock. In fact, one of the drivers in Best Motoring ran a 12.4 with an NSX Type S-Zero. I don't know much about the supercharger kit for the NSX, but they do charge $10k for it, so I would expect that it brings the car into the high 11's. I believe a lot of the cars (except the Sonoma) in the Car and Driver 10,000HP Shootout got pretty crappy numbers.

DSM. I can make an AWD Talon to beat the NSX on a circuit track and 1/4 track and still have enough left to s15 swap a 98 240

You guys do bring up a point, BUT a rice rocket slamming a exotic/supercar is priceless and always will make an audience "oooh and ahhhhhhh" over what a marvel that was to see. Oh and best yet is seeing a pissed off yuppy
its not easy to get a car into the 11's. they said the car goes from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. thats pretty damn fast. 13 flat is pretty good. especailly since it was street legal, with street tires.

I believe the NSX S-Zero and the type-R are both 12 second cars. Of course, in the US, the best we get is the Zanardi edition, which is good for low 13's.
That comptech NSX is disappointing. I would have expected it to be at least mid 12's. Some of those other cars in that article are flat-out sick though

1/4 isn t everything, put the Ferrari on a road course with the talon see what pulls the best lap times as thats where the Ferrari was born.As for the Comptech NSX pretty slow for whats done to it,i would take the Espirit(as seen on the Option Vids, and in the new Volkracing brochure....Yellow N'er) NSX street car over that one anyday ,i think Phase has a white street car one also with ITB's only has about 380 ps N/A of course but im sure on a track or street it would eat up that Comptech car.
lol ... I saw a DSM put the beat down on a Ferrari at the 1/4 mile. That yuppy looked like this:
If he is like many of us and got a 50-75K car, then there are other TT upgrades availbe that cost only 20-5K, and he would still be able to kick not ppl's @$$, but with a car that was 'cheap' (for a ferrari)

35K isnt bad for a 100-125K car.
