I've search all day. I've worked on the car. And came up with nothing. 00" AP1 STOCK

I checked the coil packs
Spark plugs
Oil level is perfect
Vtec siloniod works
Ect.......


Heres the problem that my ap1 is having. I'll let it sit and warm up to three bars on the temp gauge. I can hit vtec and pass 6k rpm's like nothing if its parked. But as soon as i start to drive, and try to pass 6k rpm's to hit vtec. It's like it has a govener chip and makes this noise like a waste gate. Please help me out

 

idk why im saying this but is your temp sensor working? i know you stated it works and show 3 bars but maybe the ecu isn't reading it right or something?

 

Thats what i'm thinking also. Some how the ecu burned out, or is not getting a proper connection somewhere. And is not reading it correct. But then agian everytime i shift at a range between 4k-6k rpms its making this wastegate/blow off valve sound.

 

I guess i'll try another form which has more knowledge. Thanks kevinnuh for your reply.

 

My guess is bad/clogged cat causing too much backpressure or bad rocker arms. Check s2ki.com if u want better forum for s2k stuff.
