AP1, strange "Squeeking noise while decelerating"
I have a 03 S2k with about 107,500 miles on it. The trans. and diff. fluids were changed when I bought my car at the beginning of the year, the car had about 95,000 miles on it at the time. The suspension is stock. The car has been driving fine up until the past week.
I started noticing last week with my music turned off, that as I'm slowing down, right around 30 mph and less, I'll start to hear a squeeking noise, kind like the bed springs in a college dorm when someone is having sex. As the car gets slower from braking, it becomes louder and louder. During the last few mph of slowing down, it sounds almost like really bad brake squeel. This doesn't seem to happen if I only drive the car for a short distance, like a mile or so.
At first I thought it was my front brakes, so I had those changed today. The pads still had some life in there, but it was getting close to time to change anyways. The rears looked like they still have a good amount of life on them, so we left it alone.
After I left the shop and started heading home, which is about 20 miles away, I started noticing it again. At this point, I am tripping out on where the sound is coming from, so I had a friend sit in my car with me while we went to dinner. She noticed the sound too, and discerned it as not from the passenger side of the car, but the driver's side. I then lowered the top, and it sounds more like it's coming from the rear.
Anyways, before I start ripping everything apart, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should check, or perhaps have some idea what it could be?
Any insight is greatly appreciated. Sorry if this should be common knowledge, but I filtered through several pages posts and didn't see anything that fit the bill.

Holy ****... just remembered my buddy has this same problem... lemme call him and tell him whats up...
I'll look into the wheel bearing, but if he wheel bearing were bad, wouldn't it make noises from the very get-go? It seems to only start making the noises after I've been driving for several miles.
gotta be the wheel bearing. i went through this very recently. in fact, i stripped the threads on the ball joints removing the knuckle and i still haven't gotten my car on the road since! but if it doesn't make noises all the time, you may be lucky enough to not have screwed up the hub like me.
if you do it yourself, it is highly reccomended to avoid using a pickle fork to separate the ball joints. and you can find the parts you need here: http://hardtopguy.com/store/home.php?cat=101
these are cheaper than any honda shop i've found by about $100 for the hub and bearing.
