no, both are sharp katana that cut thru steel.

it's a matter of budget and perferrence, this kind of question comes up alot and the ending always is to test drive both.

one thing thru, the softer ap2(06-7) clutch and better gearing is awesom for local for some people.

I guess, but this old man hasn't lost to any AP1s yet. A couple AP2s have edged me out, but I'm not mad.

Even though I drive an AP1, it totally depends on you and how you feel about both cars. When I got my S, I didn't care if it was an AP1 or an AP2, I just wanted an S.

Good luck with your decision.

Get whichever one fits your budget or looks better. Both engines are great.

It takes "more" driver to drive an AP1 if that makes sense since AP1's asses are more likely to break loose than an Ap2. Not that I'm a good driver or anything hahaha. Either or, I fvckin love S's whether its an AP1 or AP2

I look at it like this in its physical attributes:

-AP1's look more meaner/race inspired/raw

-Ap2's look more classier/luxurious/beautifuler (not a word) lines.

Yea something like that. Just drive both models(AP1/AP2) and figure it out on yourself.
