***Sushi Boy's: swapACKUS in the WerX***
After meeting jdmekcivic and seeing his bikes. And seeing how siick the bowls booth was at Nisei. And people here on the forums with thier builds... to name a couple... raffi, sanjuro, fatphosxminkus, rucksters, and ComposiMo. I knew it was time to start doing something... with no one in my area to ride with made it harder but I like being different and Inspiring others. So It was the new year and I decided tax season is coming might as well start taring it down... and with me traveling for work. I could work on it when I get back with new parts...
so after debating over and over... gy6 or 2stroke... I needed something reliable but something to keep those daym cars off my ****...
I enjoyed riding the 50 and with it a million different colors but my coworkers looked at my bike everyday and tired to always see what was different... and they were diggin it...
so the project begins...
stay tuned...

Re: ***Sushi Boy's: swapACKUS in the WerX***
After taking out that motor... I had the swap ready for the mock up... which was purchased from RUCK U. Hoping I dont have any problems with the motor... for $300bucks I couldnt pass it up... it was nearly everything i needed... and buying the bluesmoke mount for the NCY kit I was excited!
I was gonna paint it so some things needed to go bye bye... so I took out the angle grinder which I bought after seeing panduckys (aka ComposiMo on TR) siick build on honda-tech. for $20bucks being makita it was well worth it,... craigslist rocks... so I grinded away...
after that I called it a day...
I started to try wiring... using the diagrams and with some help from the forums... but they mainly made me confused cuz everyone was doing it different in their own little way... thanks to rucksters for some assistance... but I still couldnt get it... so I searched for others who did thier swap... and ran into paranoid56 who was willing to help...
so I went to his shop... and did more cutting and splicing and getting rid of the ECM and stock fuel pump... and a few hours later BAM! it turns over and starts... so I go home... and start soldering and when Im nearly done. Theres a few loose wires... going no where... and thats when I start having even more problems... finally gave up..

Re: ***Sushi Boy's: swapACKUS in the WerX***
While I was in Chicago... I had some help from fellow TR members finding parts for me.. after ordering parts.. I finally come home and put it all together... and well here it is... for now but still wiring is still an issue...
Paranoid56 r6 bracket and taillamp came in and sits flush
Killer scooter Engine mounts and Stem and kijima wave headlamp w/zoomania bracket
jody's chrome gas tank cover came in
Then I had an idea on a seat to make it a little different... than other bride seats... something bride would make for a scooter... and had this made...
***Gallery Fresh Bolts....
BTX header pipe yet to be installed... along with my canister...
it should look good... still waiting for my front end setup... but my wiring aint done yet so im not too worried...
ohhh got a passwordJDM kickstand... so no more wood blocks for me... thanks Brad.
thanks TR.

Not to get too personal, but how much this cost so far to build? I want a Rukus, but it appears to be $3K to build one like BOWLS.

Re: ***Sushi Boy's: swapACKUS in the WerX***
brembo front brakes - $900bucks
yosh pipe - $300bucks
lower seat frame - $125bucks
drag bars w/stem - $90bucks
rear fatty - $700bucks
and
still only going 40mph-45mph - priceless...
rucks may look cheap but its def. cheaper than a car...
youd get more attention on a ruckus you just cant get to someplaces as fast... esp on a stock motor...

well it all depends on what you wanna do... but the bike alone is about 2600 then you gotta mod from there...
