Wiring Vtec to a Non Vtec 92 si prelude
I have a 92 honda prelude si non vtec and i swap with a 2.2 blue top dohc h22a vtec engine.
my car runs well with the p14 ecu that was original ecu there but the vtec wont work.
I was told to get a vtec computer from the prelude vtec which is the p13 ecu 0bd1
When i plug it up the vtec still wont come in
I was told i have to do some extra wiring to the vtec solenoid, knock sensor etc
Question: What type of electrical wire should i buy or where can i get the right wires to wire the vtec ?
This is the instuction i was giving on how to wire it

Re: Wiring Vtec to a Non Vtec 92 si prelude
thanks bro
Im actually a rookie to anything that has to do with electrical
Do you think it would make a difference if i get a automatic P13 or manual P13 for a 5 speed manual transmission.
Would there be a difference in the way it runs?

maybe you can find something in there to help you. you may have to look around for a p13 writeup, if there is one.
